Located 25km South of Lucerne, the picturesque town of Engelberg almost doesn’t seem real.
The cobbled streets, beautiful swiss hotels and 900 year old Benedictine Monastery are surrounded by rolling green pastures, out of which rise the titanic glaciated mountain peaks. This valley is truly magical and with 500km of trails to choose from you will not be disappointed. We have combined runnable trails with big elevation to create a range of challenges to suit everyone’s running aspirations.
The 25K, 56K and 100K routes all pass through the stunning Fürenalp valley before heading out towards Brunni and beyond. The trails are immaculate and the terrain is truly world class.
